Top French Universities Scholarships

France boasts more than 3,500 public and private higher education institutions, offering a wide choice to students from around the world. In the QS World University Rankings 2018, 39 French universities were included, 11 of which were in the global top 300.

Here are some of the main institutions you may want to study at:

Université PSL: Located in Paris. It offers studies in the sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. Known For: 26 Nobel Prizes have been awarded to university researchers.
École Polytechnique: Located in Palaiseau. A university of science and technology. Well known for having less than 300 students, 30% of which are international.
Sorbonne University: Located in Paris. A public university with three faculties; humanities, science and medicine. Well known for: having a campus in Abu Dhabi!
École Normal Supérieure de Lyon: located in Lyon. A private university that trains researchers and professors in the sciences and humanities. Well known for: being a very selective grande école.
American University of Paris: Located in Paris. A private, independent and accredited American institution. Known for: offering complete programs in English and awarding more than 3 million euros in financial aid a year.

France is also well known for its reputable business schools, which include ESCP Europe, ESSEC Business School, HEC Paris and INSEAD.
