South Asia Scholarship in University of Tasmania
The South Asia Scholarship provides eligible international students who start studying in 2023, this includes citizens of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan.
Eligibility
To receive the scholarship, you need to be a citizen of a South Asian country and start studying the full payment of an eligible course at the University for the first time.
Eligible courses include:
- All honors or undergraduate course programs (excluding Hobart and Launceston Bachelor of Nursing; and completely online-only programs).
- All graduate course programs (excluding Master of Laboratory Medicine and fully online programs).
International students on a Student Visa (subclass 500) must continue to satisfy the criteria for the grant of a visa and must maintain satisfactory attendance in your course and course progress for each study period as required by the University of Tasmania.
Benefits
The South Asia Scholarship provides eligible international students commencing study in 2023 with a 15% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of their course.
Application
Students are assessed automatically upon submission of their International Student Application so there is no need to apply separately. Offer letters will notify applicants if they have been awarded the scholarship.
